About Us

We are a police (RCMP) based program that is supported and funded by the Ministry of Justice and Attorney General.

Our program began in 1992 in Swift Current and has since spread to the Southwest districts of Kyle, Maple Creek, Shaunavon, Gull Lake, Tompkins, Leader, Ponteix, Gravelbourg, Assiniboia, Morse, Herbert, and 40 other communities in Southwest Saskatchewan.

We have a dedicated volunteer base who work out of the respective districts with the RCMP. Victim Services Southwest offices can be found in each of the Southwest RCMP detachments.

A salaried Coordinator, Assistant Coordinator, and Administrative Assistant work alongside a volunteer Board of Directors and are responsible for the operation of the program.
